Vintage Welsh Wool Tapestry Blanket

A traditional pure new wool Welsh tapestry blanket in subtle neutrals of stone and cream, a double cloth textile woven at Rock Mills, Capel Dewi. The tapestry consists of two layers of wool woven together giving a reverse colourway on the other side, finished with fringing at both ends. It measures 84” x 86” and is in excellent clean condition with its original label & no damage. It is a fairly heavy blanket weighing just over 3kg and it has been gently laundered. Rock Mills are renowned for the quality and durability of their textiles and the mill is still working producing traditional woven blankets.
