An Art Nouveau style cotton bed cover from the 1920s, a deep cream with appliqué and embroidered butterflies and flowers, edged with a pistachio border. Measuring 94” x 84”, in lovely condition with well executed chain stitch in fresh greens and yellows, it has a lovely 20s style, the fabric is strong with no damage, just the odd worn stitch, mainly a couple of inches to the bottom pale green line, these do not detract from the beauty of this genuine vintage textile.
