Vintage Stoneware Hot Water Bottle
An early 20th century stoneware bed warmer, often known as a pig, a useful bed warmer & airer in wintertime. A heavy bottle with rubber rimmed stopper and carry handle, shaped to sit under quilts & blankets, these old bottles stay hot for many hours. 9” x 4.5” in very good condition, stamped by the manufacturer, Pearsons of Chesterfield 1810.
