Antique Booths Pompadour Serving Plate
A large antique serving plate decorated with the chinoiserie inspired pattern "Pompadour" made in the early 20thC by Booths Silicon China company. Blue transferware with hand painted accents and a scalloped edge, with vivid colours and a good shiny glaze, it is a large heavy serving dish measuring 16.5" x 13", is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips, just some small light crazing. The Booths stamp, impressed numbers and painters mark are on the base. A beautiful and durable piece of antique tableware to use and display.
