Pair of 1930s Country Cottage Plates

China & Glass

A pair of 1930s supper plates made in England by James Kent in the 'Sunnyside' pattern, very pretty tableware so evocative of its era. Two 9" octagonal plates featuring a thatched cottage garden scene with mimosa, hollyhocks and hand painted poppies in vibrant colours on a cream glaze with orange banding. In lovely condition with no cracks, chips or crazing and minimal signs of wear.
