Vintage Rose Compact & Lipstick Holder In Original Box

An oh so pretty compact and lipstick holder with beautiful pink roses and buds and duck egg and pistachio leaves on gold tone metal and a machine turned reverse, very evocative of the 1950s and in their original satin lined box. The compact and lipstick holder are in excellent condition with very minimal signs of use. The 3" compact shuts with a good snap and the lipstick holder has a working twist up mechanism. Made in Great Britain, it is stamped with its patent number and has its original paper label. The box is 5.5" x 4" and is in good condition with a few red lipstick marks. Refills can still be purchased ~ Estee Lauder, Guerlain and Rimmel are good ~ and a lipstick can be slotted in to the holder. A beautiful and very collectable 1950s vintage set now rare to find.
