Pretty Pristine & Plump Vintage Floral Eiderdown

Perfect, plump and so adorable, this is an excellent quality vintage eiderdown in a beautiful floral fabric, little country posies of dog roses, morning glory and tiny blossoms in pinks, sky blue, primrose and pistachio on a shell pink ground. The quilt has the same fabric to both sides with piped edging and seems to have been little used as the cotton cambric still has its original crispness, the attractive channel stiching is all intact, there is no fading or fabric damage and there appears to be no feather loss. There are four vent holes, one to each corner, always a sign of an excellent quality quilt. It is clean and fresh and ready to use. Approx 64" x 40", it is light, soft and and very warm, do the filling has a high proportion of down. It has a few tiny and very very pale flecks to the centre of one side, you have to look hard to see them. About as perfect as vintage can be, a truly beautiful vintage eiderdown, a joy to use and display.
