Plump & Pretty Vintage Flower Posy Eiderdown

A cheerful sight on a dull winter's day ~ a plump and crisp vintage cotton eiderdown with a vibrant print of posies with lilacs and country flowers on a sky blue ground, the same fabric to both sides. A feather and down mix with attractive channel stitching makes this quilt very warm and light, it is a good single size approx 67" x 42" plus a 1" frill all around. The eiderdown is in very good clean and fresh condition and looks hardly to have been used, the cotton cambric still retains its original crispness and slight sheen. The colours are fresh and there is no fading to the fabric, no feather loss and no rips, tears or mends. There is a faint water mark to the centre and a couple of small very faint signs of which will all remove when the quilt is next cleaned (it really doesn't require cleaning yet!) so not pristine but in excellent condition for its considerable age. A beautiful vintage eiderdown to add a touch of warmth in the colder months and a delight to display.
