Blush Pink Cotton Velvet Vintage Curtains With Tiebacks

Vintage velvet is a fabric that improves and softens with age and these curtains are a lovely example ~ a huge pair in a pretty blush pink with a pair of matching tasselled tie backs. Professionally made in excellent quality thick soft cotton velvet, in super vintage condition, lined in cream cotton cambric, each curtain measures a large 80" long (+ 3.5" hem) x 90" wide, a total width of 180", with 3" header tape and lots of string so ready to hang. They are heavy (approx 5 kgs) and great draft busters, keeping your home warm this Winter. They are in fresh, clean condition, the fabric good and strong with a deep nap and no damage. There is the very slightest fading where the curtains have been hung, which does not notice or detract, and a narrow band of fading to the outer edge of each, and there is some foxing to the linings which should remove when the curtains are next professionally cleaned, so in very good condition for their age. Beautiful warm vintage velvet in a pretty, subtle and adaptable colour ~ a lovely touch of (not so shabby) vintage chic.
