1940s Vintage Honeyglaze Fruit Set With Spoons

A vintage china fruit set with colourful droopy tulips and blossoms on a honey glaze complete with a set of sea shell EPNS spoons. This dessert set was made by A J Wilkinson Ltd, the Royal Staffordshire Pottery where Clarice Cliff worked, in their honeyglaze collection. The set has attractive green painted rims, the large bowl is approx 9.5" diameter, the 5 bowls 6.5". The set is in very good condition for its considerable age, the glaze is still glossy and there are minimal signs of wear. One bowl has crazing, and there is a small patch of crazing to the large bowl. All pieces are understamped, the stamp dates them to 1947+. A very attractive retro set, perfect for home made trifle!
