1930s Springtime Fine Bone China Tea Set For Two
in China & Glass
A vintage hand painted fine bone china tea set decorated with delicate narcissi and forget-me-nots, gently fluted shapes with scrolled handles and gilding to the rims and handles, made by the Bell china company in the 1930s. A very pretty Springtime design in excellent condition, there are two cups and saucers, two teaplates, a large cake plate and milk jug. The cups and jug have blossoms to both sides, the cups with flowers to the interior, and all pieces are understamped, the design number 4698. Excellent quality, delicate but robust English china with a shiny glaze, no chips, cracks or damage, just the tiniest crazing to the jug. Spring is here at last and tea tastes better from a china cup!
