Vintage Cotton Lawn Nightdress

A beautiful vintage cotton lawn nightdress with fine white hand embroidery and delicate drawn thread work at the neck which is edged with a Liberty print binding. The sleeves are gathered into turned cuffs that echo the drawn thread work and have 2 mother of pearl buttons at each cuff. It measures 23.5” underarm to underarm and 42” shoulder to hem, a lovely floaty free style in lovely wearable condition. It has some age to it and there are a few tiny rust spots near the front hem and a very little mark 10” down from the neck (please see last photo) these may remove with further laundering, they do not detract.
